Labels are designed for interior applications – away from sun and weather. However, labels can be manufactured to withstand corrosive environments, moisture, and high/low temperatures.  Application specifications would include the working environment and the surface type (textured, stainless,  plastic, etc.) to determine the type of material and the thickness and type of adhesive (permanent, removable, etc.).

Materials used in labels include vinyl, polyester (Mylar), polypropylene, paper, and may other materials depending on specifications.

Here are some of the classes of labels:

  • Consecutive bar code and HR labels.
  • UL and CSA approved labels.
